I caught that one :) but yes please. It helps me keep track of the entries. By adding new posts means I shouldn't miss any changes.

The Emily Perkins is also a good choice Carol - I read that a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Very well-written.

Angie wrote: "I agree. The Emily Perkins book is a brilliant choice. I may have to re-read it."
I can't believe I haven't read it yet. I remembered Erika's recommendation when I was at a Book Fair & I was blocking the aisle while I started to read it!

Yeah its a good diverse selection...as always :) Hopefully we get some other joining in too so I've got even more books to choose from!
I've sent a few messages to some of the members of BLKgroup who were active today. If one of the mods can send out a message to all of the members before the end of the month, that would be awesome. Hopefully we can increase the interest in participating in this challenge. Bigger pool of books makes for a better challenge!

I was thinking just that myself, Sharlene.

2. The First Adventure by Tamora Pierce (Nice short read)
3. Me Before You (A romance)

The Doubt Factory, Paolo Bacigalupi
Time and Time Again Ben Elton
The Shepard’s Crown; Terry Pratchett

Yay thanks for joining guys. This challenge is definitely a case of the more the merrier! But it's super relaxed so even if you only manage one book from the pool no one is going to judge :)

This one is free on smashwords as an e-book.
2. Tinker
just re-read this one like for the gazillionth time. She is also putting out a new book next month. And if you purchase it from the Baen website all the e-books on there are DRM free.
3.Written in Red
A YA book but an awesome read. The fourth book in this series was just released in April so heaps to read in the whole series.

Eion wrote: "What happens if you have already read a book that is in the pool?"
If you've already read it, then you don't have to read it again.
If you wish to reread it throughout the challenge, you can then claim points for it.

Angie wrote: "I'm super excited about this challenge. Thanks for organising it, Sharlene. It's made me finally get around to reading I Am Not Esther in readiness for I am Rebecca."
I saw you started reading it! That was my idea too. Esther has been on my TBR for a couple years now

Lesley - the title you used for Mr Rosenblum is the American title. If you buy the book in UK Commonwealth that is its title.

Ahhhhh!!! I love this series!!! Do need to catch up on some of those novellas tho.

UPDATED the list
→ TIP: If you haven't, now is a good time to find the books in the pool that interest you the most. Search your library catalogue, place a hold or get out the book, so you have it in time for 1 JUNE.

And – an additional pleasure for me – I find someone has entered one of my books - Backwards Into the Future. Thank you Ella’s Gran – you’ve made my day.
Now, what 3 books will I nominate? So many to choose from.
Those of you who know me, probably know about my FlaxFlower Reviews (if not, see http://www.flaxroots.com/flaxflower) a free service I provide to New Zealand authors. I love helping promote other Kiwi authors, so I’ll carry on that service here by nominating some NZ books.

And, Carol - The Far Pavilions is one of my most favourite books of all time. I have re-read it numerous times and it never disappoints me. I think Ash is the ultimate hero!

I've decided to defer my read of The Far Pavillions - not just because of this challenge, but because I have some reading I want to do before my trip to Sydney in August.
I may take TFP as my holiday read rather than my kindle. Will decide nearer the time. :)

It has to be released before 1 June. They can be any genre, chunky, novellas, graphic novels etc. Its good to choose titles that are easily accessible for other participants. In saying that, you can select any 3 books of your choice :)
