What else to read if you love this book?

This is hands down one of my favorite books of all time, I make it a point to re-read it at least once a year. SO, what other books would you recommend if you also love this book? (OTHER than Juliet Marillier's other books ;) ).

The Bird and the Sword by Amy Harmon.

I'd try Uprooted by Naomi Novik. She has a similar folk-tale feel with great writing.

Also Spindle's End (Folktales) by Robin McKinley is a beautiful tale.

I loved that book! Definitely try The Mists of Avalon if you haven't already read it.

Radiance and Eidolon by Grace Draven, absolutely marvelous!

I might try Mark Lawrence's Prince of Thorns. It has a similarly competent prose, dark themes, and a young protagonist. But it doesn't really have the romance aspect and is darker on the whole than Daughter of the Forest.
If you want something that more similar to it in the sense of retelling an old fable than I would try the Lost Years of Merlin series by T.A.Baron. It's not as mature as Daughter of the forest, but it has a compelling young protagonist and story, and a bit of romance.
That's all i can think of for right now, but they're undoubtedly others.

Hmm...
So I can't really think of a book that could quite measure up to this one! It's just SO GOOD!
But I might try Theft of Swords Theft of Swords (The Riyria Revelations, #1-2) by Michael J. Sullivan if you're looking for some pretty amazing world building.
