Around the Year in 52 Books discussion

I am reading Mort for week 45, a book related to a hobby or passion you have. I love anything Grim Reaper so I used that as my passion. All my other hobbies seem too boring to read about.

This is my first Pratchett book. I hope that I love it since there seem to be tons of books in this series.

That's a hilarious hobby to pick and I hope you enjoy Pratchett. This book is often listed as many people's favorite. I'd actually put it in the bottom 15 or so of the series. But that's sort of the brilliance of Discworld, it has a wide range and everyone can have a different favorite.

(Edit: I checked and I rated it 26th out of 43.)

I read this around 2002 (when I discovered Pratchett) and I don't remember it, so it's probably not the best book in the series (some others left me strongest impressions). I really love Death, it's a great character in Discworld and I'd a lot of fun reading Reaper Man :)

I read this for my 2018 Topic Discard Challenge, an epic book. I am reading the Discworld series for the first time and am really enjoying it. Mort was a fun little romp and I loved every twist it threw at me.

I read this for A book where the author’s name contains A, T, and Y. I loved it. I love Death, so this has been one of my favourite Discworld books.
