GMO labeling legislation might become a waste of time. The FDA strongly recommends that previously genetically modified foods needs no regulating and no labeling because the finished product is the same as the natural product, except for the added compunds.
The nasty thing about GMOs is not in the eating, but the agricultural manufacturers' monopolistic suing of local farmers in the vicinity and that they tend to damage the natural environment and discourage crop rotation.
