Support for Indie Authors discussion

Hi everyone,

I just got an email from smashwords stating that a book that I uploaded to them almost 6 months ago suddenly has to be modified and has been removed from the premium catalog. Has anybody else ever had this problem with smashwords? My other book that I uploaded to them in December, or at least tried to, ended up being released late because of all the nonsense with the file. After working hard the second half of December, China fix the file to smash words specifications, I still got turned away for that one. They have been continually bugging me about modifying the file since January, but I was sick the first 4 or 5 months of this year and in the hospital and all I did not have time to deal with that. Actually, In early January I finally ended up going with draft 2 digital with that title, because I just wanted to get the new book out, and have not had a problem with them at all. Now smashwords is attacking my other book, which is currently free at all major retailers, and I'm getting ready to run a promotion in regard, only to have this happen. Should I just scrap smashwords altogether and go with draft 2 digital? I already sent them an email blasting them about this problem and telling them that I am reconsidering going with them for the remainder of the books that I plan to put out. Yup, I just had one yesterday. Fixed it up. Reuploaded. Back on the premium distribution. I'm not sure why it went through six months ago, but it's good now.
