Thank you, Carol. Nice to meet you. I live in Charlotte and travel to Cary from time to time. A lot of new innovation happening in and around that area. It's always looked like a good place to live.

I have long read the reviews on this site and have finally become a member.
Most of the time I'm in North Carolina, but I'm currently in Southeast Asia for work. I work in healthcare and travel a lot. I find the exposure to new and unusual places to be a definite benefit.
I read a fair amount and like a wide variety of styles and genres. From Alice Munro to Michael Crichton. I also like nonfiction and the occasional memoir.
Lately I've not read enough and I hope to be exposed to new books.
I look forward to meeting everyone and to exchange thoughts and ideas.
