And I also finished that Elsa picked for me. I actually liked it! At first thought, I found it a bit cliche like it's going to be about the usual high school drama but as I read through it, I realized that its not.
It was written in the POV of the four main characters in the book and I liked how the author presented each one with different personalities.

Wow! You do have a lot going on Marla. Enjoy your time with your loved ones, have some fun. We will be right here when things settle down again.

Anyway, thanks for my picks. I've been meaning to read she is one of my favorite authors, I'm sure that one is going to be great. So I will start with her.

Why just 3 well this is how it went
Not a great beginning, little above average middle, not a great ending.

I loved the main lead female when she was a kick ass female, didn't like her so much when she would act like a wimpy babbling female.

On to the next one

Sorry, Mairenn, I never picked one for you for June...but I'll pick for July. I just finished that for my real life book club if you want to talk about it. Kind of dark book, but interesting.

I just finished , which is Elsa's pick for me this June. I was kinda annoyed of the MC in the first half of the book. I only enjoyed it in its last few chapters.

I know, it;s scary, what was she thinking.
I was asking these questions through out the story.
Is she that naïve? Surely no in todays society, where you have to know someone to trust them like she did.
Then to give away the most precious part of her away to a basically a stranger. Because she was infatuated with Paris? Well that's how I read it.

Yes, those were my questions too. The MC's decision left me frustrated during my read. I mean, come on! Being attracted to someone doesn't equate to trusting them as well especially if he/she is a complete stranger. And she's supposed to be a smart girl, right?

Before I finished the book, I was thinking not to read the 2nd one but the ending left me curious. So, I'll probably look for the next one and see what happens.

I had to order it as well. In fact it's at home waiting for me to read it.

It's that time again...okay, my girls are settled at college and the nest is VERY quiet, so without soccer, volleyball or softball games to run to, I should have tons of time to catch up on my reading. I am super behind on this challenge, but I will work on it in September!
