Team giraffe what's up?? Checking in. ;) I really don't have much planned for this month. Maybe 2 BRs but I love to join BRs that are already planned. I will post my wang to read list later.

Hey Cinthia! I too enjoy joining buddy reads that others planned so I'll probably be doing that this month as well. ^-^

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments It's kind of funny that so far we have checked in in the order we are listed above. First me, then Irene then Cinthia. lol. :P

This is a great group to start challenges with! :D

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

@irene do you have a BR for the golden compass? If not I could read it with you. I'm open except first week of June, the 21, or 22. But after those dates any other date works.

message 19: by Irene (new)

Irene (raenne) | 4856 comments @Cinthia - I don't. That'd be great! How about the 10th? :D

message 20: by Adriana (new)

Adriana | 3733 comments I love that we are on team Giraffe. I haven't planned my books yet but will soon.

message 22: by Irene (new)

Irene (raenne) | 4856 comments Oh! You should post them! :D

message 23: by Madelyn (new)

Madelyn Rose | 447 comments Yes!! You should!!

message 24: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (last edited May 25, 2016 11:40AM) (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments I found them on a Buzzfeed article: https://www.buzzfeed.com/alexisnedd/f...

The funniest ones for me were 2, 3, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, 15, and 21. Mostly from either the extra comments in the facts from the writer, or the pictures. :P

message 32: by Madelyn (new)

Madelyn Rose | 447 comments Oh awesome. I got a book in the mail today, and if I have time I will read it for the current challenge, but I may save it for this one if it fits a description...

We do not have to BR. :)

message 34: by Adriana (new)

Adriana | 3733 comments And so it begins...

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

I will start in the morning... boys with words by e.c. Wilson will be my first read...

message 36: by Irene (new)

Irene (raenne) | 4856 comments I'm just finishing up a book before I get started :)

message 37: by Madelyn (new)

Madelyn Rose | 447 comments I was just looking at the Top 100 list and I found out I own a bunch of the books (that I haven't already read):

City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1) by Cassandra Clare The Maze Runner (Maze Runner, #1) by James Dashner The Book Thief by Markus Zusak Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1) by Sarah J. Maas A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #1) by Sarah J. Maas Legend (Legend, #1) by Marie Lu Red Queen (Red Queen, #1) by Victoria Aveyard The 5th Wave (The 5th Wave, #1) by Rick Yancey

If anyone wants to BR, let me know. I also have some books that aren't on the list, but fit descriptions.

message 38: by [deleted user] (new)

Umm I forgot I have to look at the descriptions and see where my books fit. Just finished one I gotta see where it goes before I add it to the reviews.

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

Got it. 26 it is. Flowers on the cover. I might have to use that twice.

message 40: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

GJ on finishing your first book Cinthia! :D

Sarah says you can use the descriptions as many times as you like. :D

message 42: by Adriana (last edited Jun 01, 2016 08:27PM) (new)

Adriana | 3733 comments I'm pretty happy to be able to use some descriptions twice otherwise it would be harder. I'm listening to Stuart Little right now. Not what I expected. I've got five buddy reads and I'm trying to get some more.

message 43: by Adriana (last edited Jun 01, 2016 08:52PM) (new)

Adriana | 3733 comments I finished my review of Stuart Little. I'm going to start my br of Saint Anything next :D

Buddy Reads:

Poison Study (Study, #1) by Maria V. Snyder Magic Study (Study, #2) by Maria V. Snyder Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson Emma by Jane Austen Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen Anne of Green Gables (Anne of Green Gables, #1) by L.M. Montgomery Princess Academy (Princess Academy, #1) by Shannon Hale The Crown (The Selection, #5) by Kiera Cass

message 44: by Irene (new)

Irene (raenne) | 4856 comments Will we get any bonus points if we finish all descriptions?

message 45: by Adriana (new)

Adriana | 3733 comments No, it doesn't say anything on the page challenge. That would be really difficult to read 100 books between us but cool if we could.

message 46: by Madelyn (new)

Madelyn Rose | 447 comments That would be cool, but a challenge :)

I have only one buddy read planned: Red Queen (Red Queen, #1) by Victoria Aveyard

I may join a buddy read for City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1) by Cassandra Clare

message 47: by Madelyn (last edited Jun 02, 2016 02:28AM) (new)

message 48: by Adriana (new)

Adriana | 3733 comments Scumble is so good!!!

message 49: by Adriana (new)

Adriana | 3733 comments I think Sarah missed my Stuart Little post by accident. I put up my br read of Saint Anything so technically we have five points and are in third place. I'm going to read Beastkeeper next. I'll also be listening to my br read Princess Academy all day since the audiobook is like seven hours long....

What is everyone else reading?

message 50: by Adriana (last edited Jun 02, 2016 11:25AM) (new)

Adriana | 3733 comments Oh and there is a buddy read for Wolf by Wolf on the 18th, Illuminae on the 1st, and Glass Sword on the 13th Madelyn :D
