Lynne and I will be reading Before the Fall by Noah Hawley. Looking forward to the read and discussion!
Rk and I chose to read (well, listen to, in my case) A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess this month. Very weird slang language in this book. Very "horror show". My audiobook is a very good edition. Rk is done, and I am nearly done. Enjoying it very much. Don't think I'll watch the film, though, very intense.
Finished A Clockwork Orange. Very good narration by actor Tom Hollander.
For June, Lee recommended
I had been wanting to read it for a while, but I didn't enjoy it as much as others seemed to. I loved the premise of it, but the actual story just seemed so contrived and forced by the author to fit an idea. Couldn't put it down though! :)
