"Great!" She looks down as he cooks and frowns slightly. "Did your wife normally cook?"

"When did you learn to cook?" She asked.
"Did you teach yourself?" She looked over his shoulder to see how he was cooking.
He nodded and then handed her a metal plate with part of the squirrel.
She cringed a little at the site. "Do you have any silverware?"
"Again, I'm not a prince," he told her and started eating his food.
"You don't even have silverware?!" She says and shakes her head.
She looks down. "I'm sorry. This is normal for you huh?"
"But... You fought out there and even got injured. It's not right. You even lost your wife! They should at least pay you more for both."
"They should. Did you not almost die fighting?" She thought back to how he crawled towards the water.
"You're so pathetic. You need to realize there are flaws everywhere around you."
"Need I remind you you're under my roof and eating my food?" He threatened.
She got quiet at that and looked down at her food. "I'm sleeping in the bed right?"
She gets up after eating and heads to the room.
She lays down quietly in the bed and watches for him to come.
Xavier didn't bother going in to her. He just grabbed his cloak, stood and went to leave.
She grabbed his shoulder. "Stop." She said having rushed out of bed.
"You were going to leave with me... Weren't you?"
He looked back at her, "what?" He frowned. "No," he said. "I was going to go for a walk in the forest."
"Then I'll go with you. I don't want to be left alone." She says quickly.
"You're in my home, no one will come to you," he said. "Grab another cloak, if you're coming." He told her.
"There's another cloak in here? Where?" She asked and looked around.
She got the cloak and puts it on. "Alright."
Xavier grabbed his sword and strapped it around his waist before he walked out.
She followed quietly behind him and looked at the sword. She decided not to say anything.
He quietly walked with her into the forest.
She followed closely behind, almost breathing down his neck as she walked as close as she could to him.
"What're you doing?" He asked after a few moment.
"I'm not sure what's in this forest. I could easily die."
He looked back at her and raised his eyebrows but didn't respond as he walked.
She was glad he didn't question her. She looked over and frowned when she saw a glowing light.
He looked around and frowned at the light.
"What's that?" She started to walk towards it.
She paused when she heard growling along with it. "You hear that too right?"
"Uh.... I don't think thats a good thing," he said and pulled his sword out. He started to back away with the sword in front of him.
"What? Your backing away?" She turned around and saw the light headed towards them more.
"I dont know what that is and I don't think it's good so I say run," he said, his arm in front of her protectively.
She looked at his arm and nodded. She quickly started to run as fast as she could.
He lifted his sword, waiting for whatever it was to approach.
