Ok. I've been searching for this book for ages. I read it about 18 years ago in elementary school. It's a young adult. The cover is of a ghost boy/horse jumping over a hedge or fence head on, in mostly blue tones.
The premise of the story is, a boy moves into an old house, and either finds a journal or has dreams or something, but he ends up reading/living the life of another boy who gets mistreated by his mother/aunt person thing, is disabled or sickly, and gets a horse, but isn't allowed to ride. In the end, I think he dies from riding the horse. It's hazy in my brainpan.
Does anyone know the title or author of this book? Has anyone else ever read it? I'd like to get my hands on it again, but only knowing what the cover looks like doesn't ease my search any. Let me know.
