Checking TA is easy - the total number we can use for Emerge is on the first page. To see how many we've used, search "NBRC" on the RPG log page. Four bonuses left by my count.

It's the 1st annual Scrounger Hunt in Novel Kingdom! Queen Skye has been plagued with requests for various things that her subjects need and has found a clever way to make everyone happy. She is offering reward potions to those who bring back items on her scrounger list of things that people need.

I was looking at the points calculation for Emerge and noticed something. It says:
◈ 2 Point per Gold Remaining
◈ 5 Points per Potion Remaining

And the store has:
◈ Minor Heal Potion - 2 Gold
◈ Cure Poison - 2 Gold
◈ Damage Potion - 2 Gold

So if we have 2 gold, for example, we will 4 points. But if we use that 2 gold to buy a potion, we will get 5 points! Thus we will get slightly more points if we use all our gold to buy potions right when the event is ending.

Also we should try hard to get to the next level (25 xp away & we have exactly 25 xp in cards right now) as that will get us 45 more points. I think xp thereafter don't matter unless we hit the following level which is 75 add'l xp away and probably out of reach.

If we want to maximize points, after leveling we should either focus on quests that give gold or potions or maybe level up our weapon for 30 points.

If we don't care about points (rank 17 and 18 sort of feel like home now, right? or is it just me?) then we can just do whatever seems funnest!

I noticed this too - looks like we'll go on a shopping spree on the last day! Hehehe.

At the end we could just churn cards every 12 hours - discard everything, fight any monsters that come up, repeat :)

The larger, stupider cousin of the average Sewer Rat. These rats are bigger, smellier and have beadier eyes.

You wander into the square and see Lord Alex fleeing for his very life! He yells out, "Flee! Flee! The Great Novel Dragon is here and craves the taste of men!" You sit pondering this statement for awhile and conclude that that probably explains some of the gender ratio of the realm. Blinking a few times you clear your head and decide you should probably help maintain the ratio and charge in to help Lord Alex escape certain lunch.
