This final chapter covers the daunting task of picking the right NoSQL solution for a given problem. As it points out, this task has both technical and political dimensions. The technical side is complicated by the many competing features and overlapping functions in the marketplace. Also, wait a month and some other technology will be the next new, must do, thing. The political side is complicated by overexcitement and overoptimism about adopting the next new thing, dealing with the threats that changes to the status quo stir up, concern about betting on one of the many small companies who could disappear, or be acquired and change. While this chapter nicely describes some of the structured, logical, approaches to technology selection, in my experience the political factors often dominate.
