Rachel C. (rachelus) | 611 comments Hi Emelie! Here are some picks for you! I get the sense that some of the books you've read might not be on your shelves? If I accidentally picked something you've read, just give me a holler and I'll send you a couple repicks if you don't want to pick up the next book in the series right now (or it's a singleton) :) You and I seem to share a lot of similar book interests; I ended up adding way too many books to my already exhaustive tbr XD I hope you like these!

I would say I'm sorry, but I like my lists too much unfortunately XD Previously, people have just picked books by authors I haven't read yet if that is something that helps (totally cool with me!) :)

Diane ~Firefly~ | 1512 comments Hi Suzanne

Wow! You have a lot of books on your shelf. And I have to ask, are you really currently reading 166 of them - because that is majorly impressive. Since you have so many on your TBR, you'll have more picks from that, but I did find 5 new authors/books for you.

Not surprising, we have a lot of books in common, so I hope you like your picks.

1. North America - Summon the Keeper by Tanya Huff is set in Canada. I like the idea of keepers and setting up at an inn that has a hole to Hell in the basement leads to some interesting stories. Jennifer Crusie is one of my favorite authors and your have some of my favorites on your shelf. I went with Bet Me as I love the long build and the characters are all great.

Summon the Keeper (Keeper Chronicles #1) by Tanya Huff Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie

2. Shifter: Howling at the Moon by Karen MacInerney takes an interesting look at how to be a werewolf in the modern day world - accomodations you need to make for your career, what happens when you finally meet another, etc. Good fun! Bitten by Kelley Armstrong is the tale of the only female werewolf who is straddling both worlds (human and werewolf) and where her decisions take her. This features one of my all time favorite book couples.

Howling at the Moon (Tales of an Urban Werewolf, #1) by Karen MacInerney Bitten (Women of the Otherworld, #1) by Kelley Armstrong

3. Summer: You added this in July - Kindling the Moon by Jenn Bennett. Start of a great, but short (only 4 books) series about demons. The first new option is Ready to Were by Robyn Peterman. Cute shorter shifter story (say that 5 times fast) with fun characters and a sense of humor.

Kindling the Moon (Arcadia Bell, #1) by Jenn Bennett Ready to Were (Shift Happens, #1) by Robyn Peterman

4. Stars: Dark Descendant by Jenna Black has a bunch of mythologies and a very confused character (and reader) at the beginning. But a very interesting world. New book #2 is Off to Be the Wizard by Scott Meyer. The hero finds a computer program that basically controls everything and then gets in trouble and you think it is going to be predictable and it isn't. Great read!

Dark Descendant (Nikki Glass, #1) by Jenna Black Off to Be the Wizard (Magic 2.0, #1) by Scott Meyer

5. Mystery: Both of these are new to you. Semi-Charmed by Isabel Jordan was set in a scary world that gave vampires rights and made hunters mostly illegal. Harper will do the right thing, she just needs some muscle. Catnapped by Gabriella Herkert has the heroine surprised when her quickie Vegas husband shows up at her door.

Semi-Charmed (Harper Hall Investigations #1) by Isabel Jordan Catnapped (An Animal Instinct Mystery #1) by Gabriella Herkert

6. Begins with C, E, M, or A: You have this author on your TRB, but not this trilogy - Cold Burn of Magic by Jennifer Estep is YA UF where a thief gets forced into being a bodyguard for one of the main families. It is kind of like the mob but with powers. The Man With the Golden Torc by Simon R. Green is like a James Bond book set in an Urban Fantasy world. Tons of action and cool magic.

Cold Burn of Magic (Black Blade, #1) by Jennifer Estep The Man With the Golden Torc (Secret Histories, #1) by Simon R. Green

7. Over 200 pgs - Stuck In Shangri-La by Kasey Michaels is a fun contemporary romance. The Deal by Elle Kennedy surprised me with how much I loved it. The characters are great and I'm going to need to re-read soon.

Stuck In Shangri-La by Kasey Michaels The Deal (Off-Campus, #1) by Elle Kennedy

8. Flowers and Family: Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder has a very intriguing premise - learning to be (and hopefully survive) a poison taster and the entire book is amazing. The final new book is Huntress by Nicole Hamlett where a newly divorced mother finds out she is the daughter of Diana (The Goddess of the Hunt) and has a calling and has to get into shape to save the world.

Poison Study (Study, #1) by Maria V. Snyder Huntress (Grace Murphy, #1) by Nicole Hamlett
