Susie Does anyone know how to set my account so that I get a notification when someone responds to a comment I have written on a post in the general newsfeed that isn't mine? I miss so many comments because I don't know they have been posted.

Jenni Elyse (jenni_elyse) Well, you either have to turn them on one thread at a time by clicking "Notify me when people comment/reply" at the bottom of the thread. Or, you can turn on notifications for all threads in this group. I just turn them on individually so I'm not getting notifications for every single comment on every single thread.

JoLene (trvl2mtns) | 1532 comments Generally if you reply to a thread, you will start to get notifications on it if you check the box "Notify me when people reply" which is underneath the box where you type in your comment.

That being said, it seems to have limit on how many threads it will track. It's quite a bit, but sometimes it seems to loos the ones that you wanted. You may also have to put check something in the general notify section to get this to work.

Susie I get all notifications for PBT, but in the general newsfeed I miss comments on other people's posts. For example, if Anita posts that she's currently reading something and I comment, I don't get a notification if she replies.

Oh. You need to go to Email under Account Settings. There's a Comment and Action Notifications section where you can choose to automatically receive notifications. And, near the bottom, there is a "When I leave comments on other items, follow discussions by default" option that you'll want to check.
