African Literature Book Club discussion

Our reading of Things Fall Apart official starts Monday 27th, 2016 and I hope everyone who is participating has a book ready. For every week I will open a discussion topic for that week's set of chapters, so anyone can participate in discussing any specific aspects from those chapters or ask a question, etc.

This thread here is for any initial thoughts you have before starting the book, what you think the book will be like, or any questions you have so far.
