Hmmmm .... worried genius? No, too much stress. I'll pick joyful simpleton!

Joyful simpleton. More fun.

I seem to remember them for a few hours or a day. After that, no.

I DO remember my dreams ... which are vivid, and in color. I can even go back into a dream if I wake up and want to finish the dream.

July 5 (Tuesday): We are half way through the year. How are you doing on your reading goals?

message 11: by Marti (new)

Marti (coloreader) Leah wrote: "July 5 (Tuesday): We are half way through the year. How are you doing on your reading goals?"

Seven books ahead of my goal! I think I need to revise my goal upward, though.

message 12: by Marti (new)

Marti (coloreader) Leah wrote: "July 2 (Saturday): Do you remember your dreams?"

If I do, it is rarely for long. I do, however, have dreams that I seem to have often. One I do have all the time is that I am trying to get from one place to another through other people's houses! I sneak in and out and then off to the next house. Weird.

Sheila | 532 comments Leah wrote: "July 5 (Tuesday): We are half way through the year. How are you doing on your reading goals?"

I do. I have had my fair share of experiences. And I used to be head historian of a paranormal research group.

Sheila | 532 comments Leah wrote: "July 6 (Wednesday): Do you believe in the paranormal?"

Leah wrote: "July8 (Friday): How do you define success?"

Anytime I've accomplished something I set out to do, I count it as a success!

If you're asking about a more global definition - a happy and fulfilled life

Monday, 11July16: What's your favorite flower?

message 25: by Tracey (new)

Tracey (trakka) Book Concierge wrote: "Monday, 11July16: What's your favorite flower?"

Carnation. Very pretty and love the smell. Subtle.

Least favourite is lily as I'm allergic to them :-(

message 26: by Melissa (new)

Melissa (melissasd) | 948 comments Book Concierge wrote: "Monday, 11July16: What's your favorite flower?"

Lilacs - I grew up in Rochester, NH and it was called "The Lilac City". There were stretches of roads lined with lilacs.

message 27: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (LunaShadow) My favorite flowers are lilies and dandelions. I can't choose which one I like most.

message 28: by Marti (new)

Marti (coloreader) For bouquets I like roses. Outdoors, definitely lilacs.

Tuesday (July 12): What is your favorite family tradition?

message 30: by Marti (new)

Marti (coloreader) I buy everyone in the family a Christmas ornament every year. I did this from the time they were littles. When they finally have a home and a Christmas tree of their own, they have ornaments to decorate with! I also make onesie ornaments for all the new babies in the family for their first Christmases.

Marti (coloreader) If it's the summer and the AC is out, I check into a hotel!

message 33: by Paige (new)

Paige P (paigepradko) | 74 comments Some of my best memories raising my kids, were the days we would lose power. It happened often as we lived in a very wooded area. The neighborhood kids would come over and we would pay games by candlelight. Great fun!

Choose your battles. Respect each other's opinions, even when you don't agree. Have fun together.

Koren (koren56) | 770 comments Leah wrote: "July 13 (Wednesday): The electricity goes out for 24 hours. How do you spend your time?"

The last time the electricity went out I was lucky enough my tablet was charged so I could read and play Candy Crush.

Koren (koren56) | 770 comments Leah wrote: "July 15: What did you learn about marriage from your parents (both good and bad)?"

My parents separated and were later divorced when I was 12 so they biggest thing I learned was to never fight in front of your children, never run down your spouse in front of your children and never marry an alcoholic, which I actually did marry a recovering alcoholic who has never drank since he has been with me and has almost 40 years of sobriety.

I love my neighbors. I live in a stable, older neighborhood and every watches out for every one else. I have nice, big trees, a park nearby and a safe environment.
