With this being the second place vote recipient I'd like to start these on the 15th of the month with Dagger and Coin starting on the first so people who want to participate in both can do so.

100% in - I've read everything up to The Great Ordeal, but am planning on a reread before the new book now that it's finally here. I was planning on suggesting a read of the series here, so am very happy to see that you are way ahead of me :)

Would be willing to re-read them. Need new eyes on them.

I just ordered the book online. I want to be part of this buddy read - but I want to be able to finish all the rest of the open series I have. If I do not make it in September, I am sure I can catch up in October!

I have so many series to finish...and yet, like you, I am hoping to start even more in September.

I see it is a virus that affects some readers! Kidding aside, I am glad I am not the only one with this problem. Which is an amazing problem to have, ultimately because it means there are so many great books out there!

I read book 1 in 2013 and wanted to finish the series this year so this works out perfectly. I might try to reread the first book but either way I will definitely join in for book 2 and 3.

Is anyone planning to continue the series? I proposed we do a book every other month and only Sean responded so please let me know if you want to spread out the schedule if you want to continue reading.

Damn, shame there's not too many enjoying the series. I'm gonna pick it up and continue to re-read through the series in preparation for the newest release - I'll keep checking in here if others are reading ahead.

Ya it's tough when people don't love our favorites. I still might pick this back up at another time.

Eeeeep.. just DNF'ed it. Shitty cause I really wanted to like it, I just can't get out of first gear on this one.

Ya I felt the same way. It is weird that all three of us DNF'd the same book.

It seems like everyone is interested enough to come back to the series at a later date, but for right now it's just not what anybody's feeling. I can definitely understand that - I'm even more curious to re-read it now though, because when I first read it I tore through the series. So who knows what mood I was in then - maybe it helped that I was in the second year of my Philosophy degree... :D

Needless to say, I'll pick it up soon. I've been reading good things about The Great Ordeal (Bakker's latest), so I'm even more motivated to get on with a re-read so that I can dive into that.

I'll be good to go with it, but don't mind if no one else is interested. I can happily read it on my own time and hop in on some other active reads.

Since I think Sean is the only one, I am going to remove the next books from the shelf for now because it's not a buddy read.
