Okay, so I haven't received a copy of this book. Since I'm going to be away on Sunday for a week, there's no chance (unless I receive the book now, but possibly not even then) of me getting it read and reviewed by the deadline.

I am very sorry but I haven't been able to read this book yet. For some reason, I have been unable to transfer it onto my reading device. I just keep getting an error message that says it can't be opened. Please accept my apologies & as soon as I have figured it out, I will read & review as promised. New computer ...go figure! Possibly should have gone mobi instead of epub.

When I read the synopsis for this story it sounded very interesting to me. Unfortunately, it took me reading almost halfway through the book before I thought it could possibly reside in the vicinity of interesting. I also had difficulties getting into the story. It didn't capture my attention soon enough to make me want to continue reading. I quickly discovered that this type of story was not within my normal genre of reading material. It was a bit too dark for me during the fighting/killing scenes. On a positive note, I was impressed with the writing itself. Even though the story didn't appeal to me, the author did a wonderful job with being very descriptive in his writing.
