YA Buddy Readers' Corner ♥ discussion

This is a team challenge, running from the 1st of August to the 31st of August 2016.
All points earned in this challenge will go towards your total points for the MMC. (Mega month challenge)

Here's how it works:

Once your team has been formed, and a team thread has been set up, you'll have to pick a number from 1-300.

When the challenge starts, you'll get given something like this;

To be able to guess what the title is, your team will read books, and use any of the first letters in the title, or the first letter in any of the authors names to guess a letter. So for example, if you read The Summer I Turned Pretty By Jenny Han You could guess one of these letters: T, S, I, P, J or H.

However, If you take part in a buddy read in our group, you'll get a bonus guess, which can be any letter you like!

Every letter you guess correctly will get you one step closer to guessing the title.

When you think you know it, take a guess! If you get it right, you'll be asked to choose another number to get another book title. (Please note, your team need to read at least 1 book before making a guess on the title, and you only get one guess per book read.)

When signing up please let us know if you want to join a 'Serious' team (Reading 12 books or more), 'Medium' team (Reading 8-12 books) or a 'Just for fun' team (Reading any number of books).

Sign ups close on the 31st of July.

All titles used are classed as YA books.

Ways to earn points:

• For every book read, you and your team will earn one point.

• For every buddy read you participate in, you and your team will earn one point.

• For every title or quote guessed correctly, your team will earn 4 points.

Rules:

• Books must be read from the 1st of August to the 31st of August 2016.

• Books must be at least 100 pages in length, 150 pages for middle grade books, and 300 pages for poetry books/books written in verse.

• Buddy read must take place in our group to count.

• Letters guessed have to be the first letter in the book title / author's name to count, unless it's a bonus guess (from taking part in a buddy read for the book you read and reviewed.)

• Letter guesses have to be based on the English title. (However, you can still read the book in any language you like.)

• Your team have to read at least 1 book before making a guess, and you only get one guess per book read.

Id like to join medium as well (: Like Andrea said, we would love to be on the same team if possible! So excited for this challenge, this will be my first mega month!
