The next morning, they were still sleeping, or at least in bed. Natalia was curled up against Elian's side. Her apartment from door opened and closed silently. Then, a bag crashed to the floor.
"What. The fuck!" Max shouted. He stormed toward the bedroom.

Elian blinked her eyes open and sat up quickly when someone yelled. Thankfully, when he went to smoke on the balcony the night before, he's put on some boxers and jeans so he wasn't completely naked. He frowned and stood off the bed, "what happened?" He asked, starting to walk to the door.

Natalia was startled awake by the heavy footsteps approaching the door. She wiped her eyes and sat up, holding the covers over her chest. She looked confused for a second but then she gasped. "Oh no."
Max shoved the door open, storming. "Who the fuck is here?!"

"What?" Elian frowned over at her as he opened the door. He scowled when he saw who it was. "Yes?" He asked.

Max seethed at the sight of her naked in bed and him just standing there. "Who the fuck are you?" He asked, then shook his head with a laugh. "Oh wait; I know you. You came by after a show one time."

"Max, don't." Natalia scrambled for some clothes on the floor. She pulled on panties and Elian's shirt.

"I don't think it's any of your business," Elian said but he was getting pissed. His hands curled into fists and he stared him down, scowling.

"Why, Nat?" Max looked at her. He was even more pissed now because she was wearing his shirt.

"Because I'm not dating you!" Natalia shouted at him. "You're just a fuck and you know that. But you're acting like we're sixteen for christs sake!" She walked up to him. "Whatever we had, it's over. I dont like the way you've been treating me lately." She stood up for herself. "Plus, Elian here knows how to eat out to orgasm."she crossed her arms.
Max inhaled sharply and without thinking or hesitating, slapped Natalia across the face.
Not expecting the blow, she stumbled back, holding her cheek and falling onto the floor, gasping.

Elian could only have described it as 'he saw red'. Not only was he being a dick but he just hit her. That was enough to have Elian attack him. He punched him in the face. Once. Twice. Three times, he counted.

"You fucking slu-" max started to say, but then he was punched. Hard. He reeled back, slamming against the bedroom door. Max grunted and tried to hold his ground, attacking back.

"Stop!" Natalia cried.

"You fucker," Elian said, throwing punch after punch. Max seemed to get a few punches here and there but Elian felt less than a tingle because of how pissed he was.

"You're going to kill him!" Natalia touched Elian's arm. "Please stop."

At those words, he stopped. His hand stood in midair and he stared down at Max. Then he stood up and hauled the guy up by the shirt. "Hurt her again and I'll bury you six feet under," he growled, his hand and now his face, throbbing.

Max spat blood on the floor, nodding. He wiped his nose and glared at Natalia. "I quit your stupid show." He spat, then hastily left, slamming the apartment door loudly.

Now that he was gone, Natalia felt the sting on her cheek and tasted blood. She touched her cheek gingerly, grimacing.

Elian turned around and then took deep, calming breaths before a lazy grin spread across his face. "That felt fucking good," he said and looked at her just in time to catch her wince. "Come on," he held his hand out for her to take, hoping like hell that didn't drive her away from him.

Without hesitating she took his hand, still holding her cheek. She's done a lot of things in her life but getting hit by a guy wasn't one. She looked...stunned.

He pulled her to the kitchen and started looking for some ice.

She stayed quiet, unsure of what to say. She hopped up onto the kitchen counter. And curled her hair behind her ears.

He came back with and ice pack and some frozen peas. He grabbed some tissues and wrapped them around the ice pack. He walked over and gently pressed the icepack to her cheek while pressing the peas to his own.

She winced slightly but relaxed, staring at his face. She looked down, almost ashamed.

He watched her face and then immediately softened when he saw the look on her face. He set the peas down and parted her thighs so he could lean in between them. He grabbed her chin gently and forced her to look up at him. "Whats wrong?" He asked.

Her legs parted for him automatically like she was anticipating it. She lifted her gaze to his when he took her chin. "I just..I've never felt so vulnerable before." She admitted in a soft, almost fragile voice. "And I wish you didn't see me like this."

"See you like what?" He wondered. "You don't seem vulnerable to me. You look fine... Normal. Or is it because he hit you?" He wondered.

"Because he hit me." She admitted. "I...I don't know how to react. A part of me wishes I would have just hit him along with you."

"You should have," he shrugged. "No one has a right to lay a hand on you without your permission. Especially if its to hurt you." He rested his head against hers. "Hell, I could always teach you how to fight," he shrugged again.

She closed her eyes, resting her head against his back. "I know how to fight." She told him. "I just..I froze." She sighed.

"It's alright. It happens," he said, keeping his hands on the ice pack still.

She nodded and helped him hold his own to his face. "I really like you, Elian." She murmured.

He winced slightly when the peas touched his skin. "I... Really like you, too," he said, a small smile tugging at his lips. "Go out with me?" He asked. "On a date..."

She giggled and nodded. "I'd love to," she said, then dabbed her tongue on her split lip.

He smiled softly and watched her.

"He really got me didn't he?" She muttered.

"Don't you have some kind of torturing power thing?" He wondered. "That'd be useful."

"I'm not a sorceress." She laughed, shaking her head. She wrapped her arms around his neck loosely. "I was asking for the hit." She sighed.

"Doesn't mean he had any right to actually hurt you," he mumbled, holding her from around the waist now.

She nodded, sighing. "I know. I just should have kept my mouth shut."

"Why? It was the truth," he shrugged.

"That's true." She giggled, blushing

He grinned and gently kissed her split lip.

"Ow!" She reeled back with a laugh.

"Sorry, that was supposed to be feather-light," he laughed.

She stuck her tongue out at him then giggled. "Shall I make breakfast?"

He kissed her split lip again but much gentler. "Uh, sure."

She kissed him back then gently pushed him forward so she could hop off the counter.

He reluctantly pulled away and let her go.

She turned toward the counter and turned the coffee pot on. She then grabbed a pan.

He propped himself up on a stool. "You have no idea how fucking good you look in my shirt."

She giggled and wiggled her bum. His shirt only covered half her butt. "It's very comfy. I might need to keep it."

"Keep it," he said, watching her again.

"Yeah?" She looked over her shoulder, biting her lip.
