The second book is available on Kindle March 7th so holding it until next year isn't the worst option.

That is true, I try to borrow from library if they have it or buy from used book store if I am luck.

I use the library a lot too, and there is a used book store here that I love. She takes trade-ins so it works out nicely.

I cannot stress how good this series is. It is without a doubt my favourite thing ever written. It's not for everyone - you'll know immediately if the writing style is for you or not - but if you can get into it, this is one of the most impressive feats of world-building and story-telling I've ever seen.

And this is me restraining myself from gushing ;)
