If you're looking for The Dragonbone thread I've created a folder for Tad Williams.

Basia | 197 comments Interesting. I just got The Witchwood Crown!!! SO looking forward to it. 😊
Hope everyone is doing great!

Liam (leeman729) | 828 comments Neil Gaiman has some great stand alone novels, though I'm not sure I can fully categorize them all into Fantasy. I highly recommend Neverwhere, if you have never read that one!

Silvana (silvaubrey) | 1970 comments I am up to buddy read Tigana or anything from Guy Gavriel Kay sometime around July or August. Been wanting to try reading his work since long.

message 105: by Silvana (new)

Silvana (silvaubrey) | 1970 comments Forgot to mention Adrian Tchaikovsky's Guns of the Dawn too.

Dani and Angela were looking at that for August. I may join if I have time.

message 107: by Silvana (new)

Silvana (silvaubrey) | 1970 comments Sweet! Now I can put it in my to-buy schedule.

message 108: by Basia (new)

Basia | 197 comments Oooh!! I LOVED Children of Time. When are you all considering reading this one? I saw August in the chain, but wasn't sure. Would absolutely love to take part. 😘

message 109: by Silvana (new)

Silvana (silvaubrey) | 1970 comments Yeah August actually perfect for me since I plan to catch up some of my backlogged series for June and July.

message 110: by Basia (new)

Basia | 197 comments Me too! Perfect. August is just perfect.

Ok. I'll get the book. Cool. Been too long since I've shared the reading experience. Nothing like it.

Is this still on? Don't think I saw it in the group schedule. Maybe too early?

It got lost in the shuffle. When do you want to schedule it for? I think August may have filled in for many so Sept or Oct you might get more takers.

It did get lost. Sorry Silvana. It completely slipped my mind.

I'm reading The Ocean at the End of the Lane right now and loving it!

Enjoy Jaci. I've had that one on my TBR for ages (and I own it). Some of us have started reading Smoke and Mirrors: Short Fiction and Illusions today.

Thanks Angela, this is my first Gaiman experience and I might be hooked. I will put that one on my list as well!

Great to hear.

I loved Neverwhere, American Gods and Anansi Boys. I didn't enjoy Stardust as much.

That is good to know as I have been eyeing Neverwhere as well. I thought about watching American Gods on television but I'm too busy reading and writing lol.
After The Ocean...I have to finish Shadow of Night, I have been reading that on and off for a while now - promised myself I would finish and then Gaiman got in the way lol.

message 123: by Ahdam (new)

Ahdam (snowlocke) | 2429 comments I've recently bought American gods and haven't had plans to read it just yet and from what I've seen from the show it looks very freaky really need to get around to him to know what all the fuss is about 😂😂😂

Ahdam, one of my very good friends loves Neil Gaiman and finally (after about 3 years) convinced me to give him a try.

Jaci, I liked Neverwhere slightly more than American Gods. Still both 5 star reads for me.

That book got me hooked on Neil Gaiman as well. If I don't want to start a new series but I'm in the mood for some fantasy, Gaiman is one of my go-tos.

He has definitely hooked me with this book, so I will definitely be adding others to my list.! He has such a unique, quirky style to his writing.

Read it twice.
Love Bradbury.

No problem. I've arranged the order of my to read list until October.

By the way, Scott/mod, it would be great if you could include Something Wicked This Way Comes in the group shelf. Starting date October 25th. Many thanks!
