Number #1: 7
(what Siobhan said a few posts up)
Then, back up number or number #2: 26
I wasn't sure how long we wait for our last teammate to show up. I've never played a group game like this for this group and I've never not had a captain.....

I have a shelf for that! :)
August Reads
I will definitely add and remove some, but these are a few I want to try to get done
What are you planning?

Umm... I have never done this challenge or anything like it before. So I don't know what is a better strategy. What do you guys think?

I'll be reading these:

I'll obviously be reading a couple more, but not decided which ones yet.

I haven't played this game either
I'm reading a book (plan to be done today) that we have the choice of:
A, V or S but it looks like you have all those letters in your above books too.
I'm okay with playing this first round without a strategy until we start getting some letters filled in

I'll be reading these:

I LOVED the Martian!! I hope you enjoy it!

A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab
&
How to Ruin My Teenage Life by Simone Elkeles

currently our hangman looks like this:
Set 2, #4
Letters guessed: T, E, A, S
_ as _ _ e _ a _e By _ _ _ _e * _ _ _ _ as _ e _
_________________________________________________
Since T,E,A & S have already been picked.
Are there letters you guys think I should go for??
Book 1: Should I do M? D? O?
Book 2: R, L or H?

I finished my next book but I'm going to wait to guess a letter until we get a response from your 2 choices (especially since my book has so many letter choices)
How to Ruin My Teenage Life by Simone Elkeles
I'll keep checking back but I'll either go with: M or T if that sounds okay?

I mean:
Stray
spray
straw
strap
I can't find the right author! LOL
and then the author!!
E__r_
Elora?
lol I can't seem to crack this one....

My kids started school today so it's been a busy one of running around - but I"m finally sitting down to read for the night
Tomorrow I will definitely get more reading done :)

Anyone have a letter they want to throw out there??
I was thinking C? or A?

Btw great job, guys! We're earning so many points! I'll try and contribute, too!

Reading slumps (and stressful real lives) are the hardest to shake off. Just be well. Reading and games should be fun. :)
and fingers crossed those 3 books are good ones!

Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing! How are you guys?
As of yesterday, we're half way through the challenge!

You might try some short novellas for your favorite series or maybe a book in verse? I know these seem to help me shake it off....
but I know they are awful. I hope it gets better soon!
