I have a 50 review badge! I didn't know I had that many reviews. I thought I had 40 something, but it looks like I have 62.

I got the 10 reviews today as well! I've only done a few more than that anyway so I didn't realise it was a new thing.

I do have a question all my books from August show that they haven't been downloaded as a status even though they have been. Is anyone else having this issue?

Yes, my books show the same thing. I hadn't paid attention to that, though.

I just smirked when I realized that I have 25 review requests pending. That a load of them just sitting there, I just wish that publishers could be more quicker at accepting or rejecting our pleas haha :p

I wonder what methods the different publishers use to select us as reviewers. And I also wonder if sometimes they stop reviewing requests after a certain number have been approved, leave the rest hanging just in case they want more before the book is archived, and then let the archive process deal with them.

I haven't been on NetGalley in a few weeks and I finally finished a book after a long long time. Hopefully my review will be up later today. Oh and I just checked. I've got my 50 reviews badge. :)

I finally finished a NetGalley book this month! I read The Other Einstein: A Novel and it was excellent. So glad I requested it. Review will follow soon.

I'm just curious, how do people "review" samples that they get? or sneak peeks. Do you just post them on your blog and not goodreads or...?

For samplers I leave a review saying thanks and highlight a title or two that I'm especially looking forward to/plan to request. Nothing on the blog or goodreads.

I just review on NetGalley and not Goodreads, unless I love the book and end up reading the whole thing. Then, I'll add a GR review.

Ok thank you ladies for that suggestion. I ended up just like leaving a paragraph of feedback directly to the pub on NetGalley.

In other news, with that I just finished my 25th review and received that beautiful badge which I'm proud of :D Yay!

Often, if you look for it Macelina, GR will have an entry for teasers of books, like just hte first three chapters or something, if you really do want to leave a review there too.

Oh wow I love Wilkins' writing. I have just grabbed the second one in this series from Netgalley today. It's listed as Read Now for anyone else interested (Australian readers preferred).

Review: Review for Shadow Falling

Nicole - I'm so sad to report that I ended up DNFing That Potent Alchemy. The love scenes were amazing but the rest of the book wasn't holding together for me. :( It was the hardest feedback I've had to write so far - "I'm sorry I couldn't finish your book, but I love xyz, keep doing what you're doing, I'm cheering for ya (even though I DNFed)." :( :(

Review. This one was weepy, but good! Still at 70 percent because I got approved for .

With this review, I am caught up through May, except for , but I'm thinking it's doing fine without me. ;) I'll be moving on to June until I can get through the first two on audio through my library.

I gotta say, I'm having the same thing. It's taking me forever to get through it. I'm only 33% of the way through after many days of reading. My library stack is happy about it though!

Agreed! It keeps my eyes on the prize while also opening them to new books, hehe.
