Who was your favourite character and why? Least favourite?

I suppose that Lord Peter Wimsey was the most interesting, although he was not really developed much as a character. Most others were not very likeable except, perhaps for the errand boy Ginger. Dian de Momerie was not only unlikeable but also unlikely!

Lord Peter Wimsey would have to be my favourite, probably just because of the way he approached and conducted his investigation; I guess he also was somewhat a prototype for James Bond with respect to his womanising behaviour. I just couldn't stand whining Willis and can't understand how and why he ended up with Pamela Dean.
