Though reluctant to go after the man who killed his father, the prince is not one to step away from a fight. He thrives at the precipice of death and victory. As a powerful sandstorm envelopes the Martian kingdom, the populace holds its breath, waiting to see which man comes out on top.
Mars has become a world where robots coexist as near equals, the clergy is feared and despised, mobsters and royalty contend for power, while massive corporations headed by megalomaniacs pull the strings of nations and sway the solar system to their whim. No one is safe from finding themselves at the other end of a sharpened blade on this Darwinian world. And when the dust winds blow on the Planet of War, only the strong will survive, while the weak fade into history.
**About the Series:** The Planet of War series centers on Mars but envelopes the entire System of Sol throughout the series, starting with book 1 The Prince of Sandrid and book 2 Legends of Mars. Martians struggle to retain sovereignty in their Darwinian world. Their leaders begin to resort to morally derelict methods to hold on to their power, eyeing Eugenics in order to raise them above their constituents. Astill Chrone is the son of a king deeply involved with such a program, and as he comes of age and learns his own history, he begins to uncover that which has been hidden for a century of history. Whether it be in defense of AIs or creatures unknown, humanity too must fight for its own sovereignty
