We have an excellent conversation about great character names and revel in the news of rising print book sales. But the big question is, which Witcher is canon?

Hate to tell you this, Veronica, but Triss doesn't show up in this book. Actually, I'm pretty sure her first appearance is in the first novel. But then, Yennefer makes her debut in the final (non-frame) story, so she doesn't get much development.

Also, I'm not sure how you can really play Geralt as LG. One of the big things about all the games in my experience is that a lot of the big quests don't really have a "good" ending, just different consequences.

As I have said elsewhere, I've been watching Jesse Cox's LP of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and he recently posted a video on The Last Wish quest, with a pretty good explanation of the backstory. Spoilers, obviously.

That was pretty good, that made me laugh.

I had a little trouble clicking with the main character initially but I pushed through and started enjoying it and now I've finished. This is part of what being in a book club is about, the challenging.

I'm so excited you're doing Last Wish, it's my favorite of the three Witcher novels I've read. Blood of Elves, and Sword of Destiny being the others.
