Am I permitted to put a link to my personal website on my blog posts on Goodreads?

Hi Brenda,

You're definitely welcome to link to your personal website from your blog post on Goodreads. Although if you import blogs posts into Goodreads from your own site, the system will automatically include a link to your personal website at the end of the imported post on Goodreads.

How do you do that? (link your blog to Goodreads)

On your author profile page, there is a hyperlink called "edit external blog feed URL"

Really good question. We're all trying to market our books as best we can and putting the URL anywhere and everywhere is a good idea. I just tried to find that "edit external blog feed URL" and couldn't. Maybe I'm in the wrong place? Anyone else try?

You already have a blog listed on your author profile, so should have an edit option, either on the edit page of your author profile or on the blog page its self.

If you edit your author profile, the link should be in a group of links under the photo.

If not click on the blog header and see if there is an edit link there.

I cannot see how the Author page is set up for a GR author, I can only indicate what I see on non GR author pages when adding/editing blogs

Thanks everyone. I will check it out and give it a try. I am using my blog as a website so want to connect Goodreads blog to my blog. I will let you know if that works. Blogging is new to me and I am exciting about blogging with other authors.
