That may depend on what genre you're writing. If you are aiming for the YA/NA crowd then the sexual content should probably be mild to moderate. If it's romance, women's fiction, or general fiction you're likely good with what you're comfortable with and what fits the story.

I'm currently working on a novel about students entering their first year of university. I think my readers would mostly be in their 20s but I could be wrong. After having written a dozen or so chapters, I went back and reread what I've got so far. I'm starting to be a little concerned and this is where I need your help.
Because hormones run rampant in the college years and everybody is out looking to get lucky, I feel like there's a lot of times where characters are talking about sex or a character is noticing another's cleavage. There's also a chapter where some roommates invite everybody over for a beer pong tournament under the guise that for $5 they can partake and have all the beer they can drink (one roommate is 19 which is the legal drinking age in Ontario) and then it's revealed that it's a strip beer pong tournament which leads to some female characters being in the nude.
Anyway, just wondering how much sexual content is too much?
