Back in 2011, I started hosting #AuthoReader giveaways and discussions. What the heck are those, you might be asking?!
If you haven't already taken advantage of this cool experience, kick yourselves in your you-know-whats and start getting in on this shiz. Seriously.
Once a month, I chose a book and author that I crushed on so hard I want to share it with all of you so you can crush on it too, and I partner up with the publisher to secure 10 giveaway copies. Then I give them all away. But wait, we're not done.
As awesome as that sounds, I've got something even awesomer..... the following month, we invite the author to hang out for a whole week so we can shoot the shit and discuss the book WITH THEM.
BOOM!
I know it's easy to bring the free books, but who, I ask you, brings the free books AND the authors with them?! Yeah, you know it! Just us!!
