THE DREAMS! Who are they? And what does it all mean??? I figured out some people, but the last part of the green dream I don't know.
I love Bran chapters! So interesting. I have heard he isn't as significant on tv as he is in the books. Wonder why that is.

I don't know who the grey haired woman and slaughtered guy is but I do think the boy and girl with swords were young Ned and Lianna.
My favorite chapter of the book so far. Roseanne I love the Bran chapters too.

I just came across one of my all time favorite quotes of any book. I always liked GRRM's quote "A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. A man who never reads lives only one."
I always assumed that was something Tyrion would have said. Nope, Jojen Reed said it to Bran.
Man I loves those Reeds. The most underrated house in all of Westeros.

A lot of clarity in this chapter. I really did not understand why some trees had faces on them. Now I get it. Brilliant GRRM!

Also, the paste... some people think it's actually made from the Reeds? (Btw, Leslie, I definitely agree with you that they are so underrated.) Do you believe that? Because I'm not sure they'll show up again. And Bran did say the red things looked like blood. Btw, I'm pretty sure that the last thing Bran saw was people making a sacrifice to the trees. When I first expressed my theory that the trees are made from people, I said the red in the weirwood trees is the blood of the humans who live in their roots. But maybe it's blood from sacrifice as well. Maybe that's how you make a weirwood tree. With human blood. That's creepy as f*ck.

I wonder why Jojen is sadder and still not back to 100%. Could he be jealous of Bran?
That's kind of a cool take on how ravens started out being messenger birds.
"Dreams became lessons, lessons became dreams, things happened all at once or not at all."
How can Jojen be a greenseer, but not a skinchanger? Is he not a full greenseer? → "Only one man in a thousand is born a skinchanger... and only one skinchanger in a thousand can be a greenseer."
"A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies... the man who never reads lives only one." ← love this quote!
I kind of feel bad for Hodor. He obviously does not like Bran in him, since he hides and stuff, but Bran does it anyways!

I couldn't figure out who the people were that Bran saw, although young Ned and Lianna sounds like a great guess to me. And I thought I recalled a chapter in the first book where Ned was cleaning his sword and thought he heard someone whisper "Winterfell" but I couldn't find it when I looked back through the book so maybe I imagined it.
