Blogger Lift discussion

I just started a brand new blog in the last month and have been working on getting it set up and writing content to be published daily.

Right now there's only a handful of reviews that I've re-written from my old goodreads posts but I'm working on adding more. I read mostly genre fiction, but since I'm a parent and I read an awful lot of kids books, I include reviews on those as well.

I've been browsing around and trying to learn about all these extras I see folks doing (tours, memes, etc.)

Thoughts? Suggestions on what I should add?

I'm also looking for some new blogs to follow and read regularly, so if you want to do any link exchanges let me know!

Great layout! I like the colors, easy to read & navigate. I would suggest adding an option for readers to follow you by their email or subscribe to your feed.

It's very cute. One thing I noticed was your book review archive was sorted by book title: you might also want to do one by author's last name, so if you read and review a series, you can click on the next book in the series, or read all your reviews on Stephen King's books without hunting for the title each time. Other than that, pretty much perfect!

That's a good idea Talitha, I'll look into setting one up later this weekend when I get back from a trip. :)

Otherwise I set up tags at the bottom of posts with tags for authors, genres, publishers, and publishing year to serve a similar purpose.
