That's the scariest book I've ever read. I woke up with jaw pain from clenched teeth nightmares intermittently for weeks. This was just last year!

I've never done a buddy read, but I'm interested in this one b/c I've been planning on reading 'It' in time for Halloween.What's the structure of a buddy read, or are the details for this one being worked out? (I'd be borrowing the book from my library and I may only have it for 3 wks max.)

We'd love to have you GuessAgain. Usually we all read at our own pace, and preface our posts with the chapter numbers of where we are, then hide our posts in spoiler tags. That way, anyone at that point can click the spoiler and see what was said, and anyone not there yet won't have anything spoiled.

Hello,I did start IT few months ago, but my reading of it has ground to a halt. I enjoy it when it's in my hands but once it's down I don't feel the urge to pick it back up which is a shame. I think I would love to join in with this to encourage me to finish it!

I'm actually doing that too. I've been on the waiting list for a while and there are still two ahead of me, so I'm hoping the timing works out right. :)

the audiobook is great. that's how I devoured this monster the last time I read (listened to) it.

Just ordered the new edition of IT (with the infamous minimalistic artwork) from Amazon. I just don't know if my awful eyesight can withstand reading the tiny print of my old paperback- lol.
That's cool! I didn't even know there was a new edition. You'll have to let us know about this artwork?, once you get it.

Yep, in the Overdrive app, once you've transferred it to your device or ITunes you can delete/return by right clicking on a PC. It also never expires once you've transferred the files to ITunes or an iPod.
I use an ancient IPod and it has tons of them. I prefer doing it that way because I never feel rushed when listening to them.

This is a buddy read I'd love to jump in! I've added this book a long time ago, but I didn't have the chance to read it yet...
Just seen the comments about an audio book, what a great idea, that may help me finish it. I will need to look into it.

Ha! Our group listens have sort of fallen by the wayside. Though discussions are currently going on as to bringing them back. :)
