Interested in the future of human evolution? Then this might just be the book for you. How to Build a God argues that we're about to undergo a technological explosion that will hurl us out to the stars, and birth god itself. It's free for 24 hours beginning May 15th. Kenny Chaffin (kennychaffin) Thanks Alex, I'll take a look. I agree there are big changes ahead. I've written a few essays (more to come certainly) on the topic on my blog and books such as:

Evolution Then?
http://kennyachaffin.blogspot.com/201...

and Butterflies (at Amazon) which explores the possibility that biological life is only a phase of the larger/much longer evolution of life in the universe.

I took a look at your sample and I think we have some similar ideas about what the future may hold. Not sure I take it as far as "God" thought - and I know you don't either from the sample....just a bit of marketing hyperbole. :)

Good Luck with it and
Thanks!

Okay Kenny, I'll give it a look.

I wouldn't say using the word god is marketing hyperbole at all. It needn't be god in the spiritual sense, as I took great pains to point out. Just a more powerful intelligence than ourselves, technological in this case.
