I've never heard of Lawrence Sanders before, but I do like the sound of his Deadly Sins series...

(I just need to stock up on the chocolate and other stated accoutrements necessary to physical readiness for such a challenge ;)

Actually, I remember thinking I wasn't starting in the first days of winter at the time, but since I rearranged my challenge, I realised that I started on one of the books that I used on June 3rd, so maybe it wasn't that I started it too late - maybe I just tried to read too many other books in between which slowed me down!
