Aww you make me smile, I think I will join in, a friend send me the ebook but I'm ordering a paperback, I like those goodies on paper when I can. It's long but I can do it, the book sounds very intriguing!

30% in... I'm really enjoying all the nuttiness happening now, its non stop crazy while the intro was so normal in contrast, it makes the surreal stand out in a good way, and not non-realistic stuff form page 1.

On topic, I just finished Creed and I loved it! It's my favorite Herbert book so far. I had so much fun with this read, I can hardly even tell you. :)

Kasia, thanks for chiming in. Good to know I'm not the only one still reading, LOL!
I think rabbits make great pets. I had one for years. Congrats on the new addition to your household!
I grabbed copies of both Fog and Rats while I was ordering.

I don't mind holding off discussion till everyone is finished.

I'm at 50% now, and I love what he's doing with the Nosferatu villain. So very very creepy. And the descriptions are so vivid.
He just got back from the meeting in the park.
And Cally isn't who she seemed...

Thank you guys, just getting to my comments, had a busy day with the new pet, he's so precious I cant stop thinking about his sweet little munchkin mouth! :)
Now I have to pick a name... hmmm
But reading suffered this weekend, not sure why I'm being such a turtle the book is flying! 60%

80% in, I'm a snail lol!
But I love how the reader feels as if he/she was right there next to Creed the whole time, he really takes you with him, and like Jon said, makes me want to read Herbert more, next re-read will have to be The Magic Cottage, I still remember it fondly.

I've always had a soft spot for British fiction, particularly horror.
