Will we go with a beach theme? Summer heat? Maybe getting away for a vacation?

It was a road trip theme. Where the characters in a book was going on a trip being big or small in a car or traveling to a new town.

Road trip sounds good :-) We can start with The Stand by Stephen King ... the ultimate post-apocalyptic road trip :-)

Waffles - Kelsey (waffles_library) | 2 comments I like it!! I believe I set it up right in my bookshelves....Challenge Roadtrip. This should be fun :)
Quick question....could they be non-fiction or do they have to be fiction travel books?

Tina (whitley97) | 17 comments Can it be a book about traveling on a tour bus, I have a lot of rockstar books on my TBR?

Samantha Clysdale | 253 comments Mod
I will allow it. I never thought about bus but it does drive on the road.

My click on the highlight part at the top of the challenge. It will take you to the full challenge where it will have how many book your going to read for the challenge. Then use add the to read shelf you are using.

It should look like the 2014 Challenge. So I will post the link for that challenge so you can look at the bottom part of how it will look like when it opens up.

Amanda Robinson Hi! Haven't done a challenge yet, so I want to do this, but not sure what books I have that have road trips or trips of any sort...
I know a cpl that I have been putting off reading until the challenge begins.

So question is will it be ok if I only have one or two books on my shelve and then add them as I find them?

Its okay. That you have 2 to start off with and yes you can add them as the challenge goes along.

You can even ask the your fellow readers to recommend books for your challenge.

Keisha (keisha28) so they have to be road trip themed not just books

Keisha wrote: "so they have to be road trip themed not just books"

yes road trip them or a journey theme. The books must start from one place and go to a different place. By car, bus, RV, Horse, Motorcycle and by foot.

Emily (deathbyproxxy) Does anyone have any recommendations?

message 26: by Janet (new)

Janet Hecht (janet_hecht) | 23 comments Emily wrote: "Does anyone have any recommendations?"

I found 26 books that I put on my shelf for the challenge (obviously I won't read that many). Feel free to check out my shelf and see if any interest you.

Jordan (earlgreyandbookmarks) I built a summer 14 challenge board. This is my first challenge so I'm more focused on reading the books than matching a theme. To get back in the reading game. Hope that's ok.

message 28: by Emily (new)

Emily (deathbyproxxy) After you complete a book for the challenge do you have to move to your Read shelf? Because I finished a book, rated/reviewed it and it isn't saying I have completed anything!

Is it Sabiel? I see you read it. But you have to mark it as today date. Then it will add it as finish.

I ran across a book review of this book that fits in our challenge and I thought I would post the link for it.
