Denae Christine (denaechristine) | 167 comments I really should have noticed this earlier, but when we update a review (even if it's a slight edit), the review is counted as new that week. It will show up in front of you followers' feed again. Goodreads will tally it toward your total reviews for the week (so I now have 33 reviews this week . . . ).

Is this cheating? It feels like cheating. I like to add to my reviews after I've read a book a second or third time, but sometimes I'm not changing much. I do know how to unclick the "add to update feed," but I don't want to hide updates either.

Why is this useful? Because authors are readers. Many authors are reviewers. If you love talking about books, review them. Maybe go update a review. Go like/comment on another's review of a book you enjoyed/hated. Start a conversation!
