Jon | 401 comments You've got a few adventure stories mixed in here. At least half of them (or more, depending upon what you or I call adventure). I'll bet they will set your heart pounding a bit.

I think many stories are called classics precisely because they are adventures. The Iliad, the Odyssey, Canterbury Tales, Don Quixote, and so many others all have that strong appeal for being great stories.
