Jyoti Arora (jyotiarora) | 9 comments Hi,

I'm Jyoti Arora, author since 2011, lover of books since I learnt to read :)
I live in Ghaziabad.
As for my favoruite books, my most admired books' list is topped by the likes of Gone With The Wind, Fountainhead, Villette etc. These are the books that I loved, but can't dare to read again.
The books that I do read again and again are Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre etc.
And oh, of course I love my own books best of all! But won't name them here for fear of being labeled as a spammer. (But please do check the promo thread for my latest!)

Surabhi (surabhis) Hello..not sure what to say..Well, I like books;my favorite genres being classics, literary fiction and non-fiction. I particularly enjoy the works of Dostoevsky, Camus, Sartre and the likes. However, sometimes I just take a break from them and go on a chick-lit or ya reading spree. All in all, I am quite open to all genres except maybe horror or paranormal..Looking forward to having fun here :)

message 291: by Sarang (new)

Sarang Jairaj | 1 comments I have completed the manuscript of my second book 'Void' and came across a website : http://bloodygoodbook.com/
in the process.

How does BGB (bloody good book) work - Authors put up a part of their manuscript online. Then, book lovers read, rate and review these manuscripts, and the top ten best rated, reviewed and popular manuscripts are considered for publication by Bloody Good Book. (Via FAQ on BGB)

I have crossed the first barrier - my manuscript has been chosen and uploaded on BGB. Now, I need all of you to read the manuscript, "review it honestly" and help me get published (hopefully).

Link for my manuscript on BGB :
http://bloodygoodbook.com/void

BGB has a collaboration with Westland publishers.
If they both decide to co-publish a particular manuscript, Westland will publish it in print and Bloody Good Book will publish it as an eBook.

It's the only dream I have - to see my book sitting in a bookstore proudly. So please read, share and ask your friends to read as well. Happy reading. Thanks in anticipation.

Hello! I am Maggie, and I am from Muskoka, Ontario. I adore books and talking about them. I am never without one, and have a wide variety of tastes. No certain genre is my favourite. I love them all! I can't wait to participate in discussions and challenges with everyone. :)

message 294: by Sumit (new)

Sumit Singla (sumitsingla) Hey there, Maggie. Welcome to the forum and happy reading. :)

There are many of us here who jump across genres and enjoy good books, irrespective of their genres. We'll look forward to discussing with you.

P.S. Must be getting really cold in Ontario already, right?

message 300: by Erin (new)

Erin Smith (erin_smith) Hello! I'm Erin, I'm excited to expand my reading horizon. I have always read science fiction, fantasy, YA, and children's books. I'm wanting to read more of everything. Just finished a Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen I'm sure everyone knows that one. And Exiles by Melanie Rawn. Now I'm on the search for a new book. I love reading but am busy so I tend to binge read during term breaks or read slowlllly. I'm really wanting to get into other genres including nonfiction and educational books. Currently I'm searching for a good history book perhaps about an area in Africa if anyone has suggestions? I love eating and taking too many gummy vitamins. I'm impulsive. I am in danger of becoming an introvert, so this is my way of combining self help with fun haha just kidding...but I really don't want to be a hermit, I would not make a cool hermit. Add me, ask me questions, whatever I'll just be reading like a heathen.
