I have a used copy in reasonable but not perfect shape I'd be happy to send you. If you would like it just send me a message with the address to send it to. :)

OMG! Your so sweet!! I don't want to put you out. I found an acceptable one on thrift books. I'm thinking about getting it. I hate when they have acceptable though, it could mean anything. Lol

I'm at my limit on overdrive holds. We have to pay a yearly fee at our library so we got the cheapest one that me and mom share. Do not get me started on that, making people pay for the library is a sin! They said the head guy was a jerk though.

Or part of stuff missing. It's like they don't even check!!
We have to pay to renew our cards. But that is crazy, almost defeats the purpose of it! Yes, missing stuff would make me so mad.

whoa! that is crazy! I would be pissed then.

On a good note, I just got The Mist and Usher's Passing from thrift books. Well I ordered them. It usually takes two weeks or so to get here. They are slow and they are both acceptable books so hopefully they are fine enough to read :-D

i can't believe i never knew of this site until now, lmao, i'm gonna be in so much trouble with all these books i see :D

Omg! I get in a lot of trouble with books. I just got a thrift book order in today and a bookoutlet order. I also have more coming from Amazon, Bookoutlet and Thriftbooks. Help!! Lol

Awesome, Tom :-)
I don't know how many times I've already read my poor paperback copy, but I can't wait to delve into it again!!!

Yes. I love it. I actually made a post recently about how much I love late 70s to early 90s covers. Fantastic.

That sounds like the 2nd paperback edition, circa 1989.

yep, that's the one I got but I like the pumpkin man version more.

Wow! What state is charging, $85 for a family on an annual basis, if I may ask? We have certain libraries that charge non-resident fees.

If you liive outside the city limits we have to pay to join the library. Inside the city limits it is a line item on your property tax bill. Outside the city limits you have to pay the amount it would be if it was in your property taxes. Lets just say I would have to pay close to $500 to have a library card. My mom lives 2 miles away from me (inside the city limits). I am awaiting the ILL for this book. Wink wink

I've never heard of having to pay for a library card! Around here, they just cut the library hours and days. :(
