Some one starts a statement with fortunately. Someone else replies to the next one with a statement starting with unfortunately, and so on.

Example:

Person 1: Fortunately, I bought some chocolate

Person 2: Unfortunately, a random guy stole my chocolate and ate it.

Fortunately I went to my friend's house

unfortunately, my friend ate tuna, which I dislike. (of course it is food)

Unfortunately I am doing hw.
Fortunately I am eating my sisters slice of pizza (unfortunate for her of course)

Unfortunately, my sister came in and caught me eating her slice of pizza

Fortunately, I told her it was mine from another day, and she believed me.

Unfortunately, a bird flew in and took a bite of my pizza

Actually....I told her I was eating it. She was like whatever.
(Fortunately)

Unfortunately, a whole flock of birds got into a scuffle over it.

Fortunately a little boy came and started screaming at the birds to go away

Unfortunately the boy had a sour throat and couldn't scream very loud.

Fortunately, a clown came by with a horn and scared the birds away.

Unfortunately, that clown was the demonic clown from Stephen King's "It", and he starts chasing you...

Fortunately I ran and hid behind a tree

unfortunately the tree was too thin to hide you

fortunately a thick fog blew in and blanketed the forest

Unfortunately the clown got caught in the fog along with us

fortunately a helpful bunny came along to guide us

Unfortunately the bunny betrayed us later and turned evil and attacked us all

fortunately we were able to stab the bunny with a sharp branch

Unfortunately the wind blew the sharp branch away

Fortunately there was a huge rock that we could pick up and hit the bunny with

Unfortunately the huge rock was light and didn't do much effect

FORTUNATELY there was sand nearby so we grabbed a handful and threw it at the rabid bunny/rabbit

unfortunately the wind was blowing your way so it got in your eyes and temporarily blinded you

Fortunately the wind swung back around and temporarily blinded you back for laughing XD

unfortunately the bunny recovered enough to lunge at you

Fortunately I dodged out of the way and magically pulled out food from my pocket and held it out to the rabbit.
