Paranormal Romance & Urban Fantasy discussion

I'm trying to find a few new vampire series to read, I've read a lot that aren't on my list, but haven't found many that really hook me. Looking for very well written sex scenes, maybe a bit dark/forbidden, and definitely want a series. I've been going through the other posts similar to mine trying to find a new book, but I've either read most of the suggested or I didn't find the suggestions to be exactly what I was looking for. Please help :)

Try Rosa Steel. She wrote 4 novellas that are out of this world.

Have you tried the Vampires in America series by D.B. Reynolds? There are always the old standby recommendations for Anita Blake series or the Black Dagger Brotherhood. The Night Huntress series has some hot sex.

Steer clear of the Anita Blake series. It has virtually no romance in it at all. I really don't know why people keep recommending it for PNR. Its pure urban fantasy.

I've read the bdb, Anita Blake, and night huntress. They were good, and as far as sexy goes bdb was the only one I didn't find to be completely lacking. Haha I'm picky with my smut I guess, but most are repetitive and boring in most other books.

Where did you get the rosa steel books? I'm having dificulty finding anything but the second book :(

You should check out kresley Cole, her immortals after dark series isn't always about vampires, but it's a brilliant series!

Going to follow this thread. I looking for something similar too :)
