Adrian Ferrer (adrianferrer) Hello, folks.

I'm looking for friends who could make reviews about my book on Amazon.com.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071HMD698

Be warned that the book contains Bible-related content and that many of the ideas in the book confront the dogmas of the church. So if you have no problem opening your mind to new ideas that might confront the church's official position, Angel of Death is a good call!

Those who read The Da Vinci Code and did not feel offended by its content will deal well with Angel of Death. I'm not here to disrespect people's views about religion, but only to present new points of view.

Angel of Death is not a long book and is fast paced.

Please contact me and I will send you a FREE copy of the book.

Martin Hill (martinroyhill) | 22 comments Enter for a chance to win one of three autographed copies of Martin Roy Hill's mystery thriller THE LAST REFUGE.

Iraq, 1991:Operation Desert Storm. In a terrible friendly fire incident, a U.S. helicopter massacres a small convoy of American MPs. Among the dead: a mysterious American civilian engineer discovered by the soldiers behind enemy lines.

San Diego, CA, 1993: A freelance journalist is hired to research a story about a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the dead engineer's widow against the government and the defense contractor which employed him But the government insists there is no lawsuit, and the contractor claims the engineer did not work for them. And someone is willing to kill to keep it that way.

Peter Brandt, the war-scarred journalist from Empty Places, returns in this story of greed, betrayal, and government secrets. With federal agents, foreign spies, and shady covert operatives standing in his way, Peter discovers patriotism is often the last refuge for those whose motives are far from patriotic. Can Peter expose the truth without becoming another victim of the wartime tragedy?

The Last Refuge by Martin Roy Hill

I tried to tell you about this before, but my post was deleted (or I can't find it anymore). This forum is extremely restrictive, but I love my UK readers, so I keep trying.

I wish I could tell you about my upcoming sales and my future freebie, but that would get this post deleted. I will forget, so I apologize in advance. I should remember, but I'm very busy writing.

I'm very surprised you find our forum restrictive.

Have you opened an author thread?
Have you posted in the monthly freebie thread?

Have you tried engaging in any of the chatty threads or are you just here to advertise?

If you have any questions about where to post, please just ask. We're all happy to help.

Crux of the Panacea (Crux Series Book 3)
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B071ZDW4RT

A Sci-Fi Adventure
(Always FREE on KindleUnlimited)

All life on Earth has been destroyed by the Sentient Worm. This computer code slithered through electronic circuits like a serpent. Every negative emotion known to man was amplified as it turned droids into demons. The creator of this twisted infection was a Maureen O-Series tech droid. She was the first droid on the planet to achieve sentience. She named herself Mo.

The SS Mayflower is the last hope of humanity. It's a seed ship from Earth which left hundreds of years before the scourge of the Mo Droids. The Mayflower is the polar opposite of the Mo Droid. Its society is based on the principle of love.

The crew of the Mayflower won their battle against the Sentient Worm 13 years prior. The hero of this battle was a man who had just learned of his psychic potential. It was a dangerous potential and the reason he was discarded from Earth 500 years prior like a bag of putrid refuse. He didn't win his battle alone. He was aided by his droid wife who gained sentience through love.

The terraforming of planet Gaea is nearly complete when the Mayflower learns they're not alone in the universe. Are they allies or foes? This book answers that question as we discover the true potential of the children of the Mayflower. One of the children is more powerful than anyone who ever lived, or at least that is what we are led to believe at first.

This is a battle between pure love and absolute evil. The battleground is space. The weapons are both scientific and paranormal.

Rosen Trevithick (rosentrevithick) | 2272 comments Wow. I just went to run a Goodreads Giveaway and found they want $119 - $599 off me before I can list it. Yet another example of the middle man trying to steal an unreasonable cut from underpaid authors.

message 24: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Marie Gabriel (lisamariegabriel) | 1066 comments I will not be running any more GR giveaways Rosen. I think the new pricing will cut out most indies. Perhaps that's what they want? You have to be very privileged to pay that much to give your work away.

message 25: by Rosen (new)

Rosen Trevithick (rosentrevithick) | 2272 comments I get that sites need to make money, but there seems to be a massive imbalance between what readers are asked to pay and what authors are expected to stump up.

Covering the cost of a paperback plus (usually worldwide) postage felt like a fair cost to authors.

message 26: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Marie Gabriel (lisamariegabriel) | 1066 comments It did Rosen. I know a lot of people will be disappointed by it.
