Hello! I'm seeking reviews for my new book Laika in Lisan . If you're looking for a book that's a quick, fun read with a female protagonist who does NOT stand out because she's beautiful, because she possesses some amazing or unique ability, or because it's her "destiny," then this book is for you! Laika is a scholar who travels to a mysterious foreign country with a dystopian society (similar to Kim Il-sung's North Korea), and the challenges and opportunities she encounters in the story are the result of her own decisions and the powerful situations she finds herself in.

Very, very nice book. I vouch for it :)

This does look rather original. I have a big pile of books to read at the moment but will make a note of this and will try and read it at some point (I'll buy it myself, the Kindle edition is a reasonable price). Good luck, Maron.
