Assistant Director Kunze sent Maggie to a Denver conference to present on a topic not related to profiling. He later says he's trying to "keep her safe." What do you make of this relationship and what he might have meant?

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments I have no idea why he would do this. Why does he feel he has to "keep her safe"? Is he just saying that so he can keep her out of his way? I certainly hope the author has answers for his actions.

This is a point of frustration for me with this series. He walked into his first story carrying an axe to grind with Maggie and Tully. This is at least the third book and I think the author needs to explain it or stop putting it out there.

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments I agree. Why include this in the books if she isn't going to explain it?

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments I agree with you all. It's time for the author to "fish or cut bait" with some characters and profiles (pun intended).
