amber is a pretty typical queen bee. beautiful, wealthy, clever: she has everything necessary to achieve her much desired popularity. she doesn't really care about anyone other than herself and will do anything it takes to be on top of the social heirachy of vanderbilt. she doesn't bother with school, and usually just manipulates one of her "friends" into giving her the answers to everything and therefore maintains fine grades. her parents are constantly working, her father as a famous director and her mother as a stunning model, and although she isn't royalty, amber is a well known celebrity in europe and the united states, starring in her father's movies from time to time and modeling every now and then. her parents don't care what she does, and she just does what she pleases with her unlimited credit card and endless supply of designer appeal.

she can't stand having to do things for other people and is used to having others do what she demands. that includes sharing: if amber was forced to share a dorm she would first off make sure it was a large enough, then furnish it with everything she wanted, and definitely make her roommate sleep in a closet - no, her closet was too precious. they would be stuck in the pantry instead. if she did something which many would consider to be cold, she truly wouldn't care. she isn't concerned about being kind: she wants her way. she does know how to act sweet in front of authority, though.

as a young child, amber was constantly traveling with either her mother or father to some place, whether her mother had a fashion show in milan or her father was shooting for a new movie in brazil, and although she had a multitude homes around the world, she never really had a place she could go to with memories. as she grew older, she found that she was tired of tagging along with her parents. at the age of fourteen, her parents payed a large amount of money and amber was enrolled in the pristine vanderbilt academy, which she grew to love. although the classes weren't too interesting, she learned ways to get out of doing work while achieving high grades with a bit of manipulation and quickly earned a status as one of the most popular girls in the school.

EVANGELINE, affectionately known as Eva in intimate circles, is the ruler of Vanderbilt, and everyone knows that it's a fact of life.

She was born a ruler too- she was born to the King and Queen of Monaco, who's ancestors founded the very Vanderbilt Academy, an old summer palace. She was born on January 17th in the royal palace- but she was illegitmate, instead born to an English royal in line to the throne and her father, the King of Monaco. Nobody knows this except for dear, sweet old dad who'd kill to keep it under wraps. She was always surrounded by a team of nannies- at least 3 at a time, who never stayed for more than a month. She was educated until she was 12 with a variety of tutors- she maybe saw her parents two or three times a year outside of formal events. Her going away gift to Vanderbilt was an adorable Papillion for companionship, and it's probably the only thing she loves with no strings attached.

When she arrived at Vanderbilt, people feared her and she exploited that fear to become a classic clique leader. The "Glam Clan" was created in the summer of her sixth grade year; a cult of crème de la crème some would venture to say.

SHE isn't as soul sucking as some believe- she feels the need to validate her authority with every move. Confidence radiates off of her- being a model and an actress might do that to a person. Indeed, she can be cold and conniving, with a heart of stone to get what she wants, but if you know her closely she'll become more friendly and kind. Onstage, she can be anyone- which makes her a great actress. Just tell her what to do, and she'll execute it perfectly. She can be fiercely protective of her friends, and tends to manage her anger horribly- one case was in eighth grade when she caused a girl's face to turn a hideous shade of orange after she insulted Eva's friend's natural spray tan.

[ hair color ] Silvery Blonde -- he's gotten some comments on this, mostly from older folks asking how he manages to look so young. Sometimes he goes along with it, sometimes he doesn't. And, for the record, it's only partly due to dye that it's this color; the rest was mother nature.
[ height ] 6'1" -- tall enough to be noticeable, but not tall enough to be considered crazy tall. He's content with it, really, since he's still taller than a majority of people.
[ vocal attributes ] Aaron's got this rich boy accent, but not the nasally kind. He just sounds like he's seen a good deal of the world on the dime of his parents, a mixture of accents in a low tenor octave.
[ distinguishing feature(s) ] Blemishes are not common on his skin, but his hair is certainly something that sets him apart. That, and the very faintest scar on the hollow of his neck. There's a story behind it that is more parts stupid than shocking, in his opinion.

[ Personality ]

There are many ways to describe Aaron, but a common thing is that he's about as cold as the Arctic. He's numb all over, in the ways that are neither terrifying or interesting; just a boring average. He's got a moderate amount of insight and intelligence, enough to allow him passage through the educational system, but not enough to qualify him as a genius. He's not one to dwell in place or the other, a vagabond at heart. The same could apply to any relationships he's ever been in. When he loses interest in it, it's over. That, in a sense, makes him fitting for being the aptly described numb and cold person that he is. But, that is only the top layer, one facet of him.

He's arrogant, so arrogant. He's the kind of arrogant that makes you feel slightly inferior, but mostly offended. He's the level of arrogance that most people can't reach, but he's not rude. Sure, he might have ideas of just how attractive he is, but he doesn't really go around telling everyone that he thinks that. Or that he knows he's more attractive than most. But, then again, Aaron doesn't really like to talk to people. People have a tendency to piss him off, so he just doesn't speak to them. It's very logical in his mind, and it's gonna stay that way.

He could honestly care less about what people have to say, or what they might be going through. He can't put himself in the place of others, primarily because he thinks he doesn't have to. He never really got a lesson in empathy when he was younger, and still has yet to get one. His arrogance also makes it near impossible for him to swallow his pride and try to see things from someone else's perspective.

◒ appearance -- clearly, Aaron can use his appearance to his advantage. Life is a lot easier being so attractive, but it's also a different kind of difficult; the fortunate kind of difficult for him.
◒ charming -- he's very charming, this kid is. It's likely one of his greatest weapons, and he uses it often to get whatever it is he wants.
◒ drifter -- because Aaron can just drift through life, noticed and unnoticed, he can be privy to pretty much anything. Most people don't think about restraint when they see him to begin with, so sharing secrets isn't something they think about twice.

◓ apathy -- not being able to connect with other people is a deal breaker. While he can certainly charm the mess out of you, he doesn't really have much interest in the outcome.
◓ numb -- he's pretty much emotionally stunted. Most emotions are muted, aside from being pissed. That's the one thing that shows through quite clearly.
◓ drifter -- as a drifter, he doesn't have many friends. Aaron is essentially on his own all the time, with no one to really call a friend.

[ History ]

Let's get things straight: Aaron's family was the almost stereotypical old money family. Snooty, always on the move, showing off everything they had and could get. Aaron was born into that, behind an older sister who was already a child model by the time she was five. Five, and already gracing the cover of a magazine. Aaron fit into this quite nicely, with hair a nearly snowy blonde to follow the blonde haired bob his mother and sister sported so well. His father, a man of great wealth and clearly too old for his mother. The decades between the age of the two were perhaps four, but Aaron never really cared all that much for it.

When he turned five, that wondrous number, it was his turn to show the world his face. And they loved it. While he didn't have that pert look to him that his sister had, or the seemingly positioned beauty marks that dotted her face, he was still a hot commodity. Of course, as he got older he dropped out of it. Not because he didn't like, but because he simply lost interest in people walking up to him and asking for his autograph or a picture. They still do that, have been since he was six, but not as much as before. What he really wants to get back to it all, which will be very easy.

At twelve years old, he'd seen a majority of the world. Meaning, he'd been through most of Europe and Asia, parts of South America, a short tour in America, a stop in Africa, and then Australia and New Zealand. He enjoyed a posh education, got a little smarter and then a little risky. He was living in splendor for quite some time, and then Vanderbilt happened.

Aaron has no love for Vanderbilt and the excessive amount of drama. He was used to conflict, yes, but not in the sense that he's been exposed to. Vanderbilt has been a place of stagnancy. Sure, someone died, but he's not exactly mourning that loss. No, he doesn't even think he knew her, to be frank, or that he cares. He just wants to finish his stay, and be gone.

[ n ] o one has ever said that Ramone isn't pretty. In fact, people say it far too often. He's grown up with having compliments thrown at him because people happen to think he's the opposite gender, but it's usually rectified when he opens his mouth to speak. His voice, while nice and melodic, is just a touch too deep to belong to a female. However, Ramone has never really let this go to his head. If anything, he hates the way he looks. He'd try to change it in a heart beat, but he can't do more than cut his hair and attempt to dress more masculinely. His mother, on the other hand, has always been satisfied with the biological mishap. She wanted a son and a daughter, and look what she go; two in one. So, while he says he hates it, he can't stop old habits.

Ramone is quiet, but not shy. He's a little new to the world outside of his little sphere of Mother and home. His mother decided that homeschooling him would be for the best, but he suspects she just wanted an excuse to dress him up all day. That, or actually did have some of care for him other than in his appearance. So, while he's well aware of certain things, much of the world is blank canvas that he'd like to fill up. Coming to Vanderbilt was supposed to be his way of seeing the world.

Crowds have never been his thing. He has a tendency to freak out when he gets surrounded. Ramone tends to avoid that at all cost, and would prefer that people keep their space. Which, most people seem to find as being difficult, and he really would like not to have his personal bubble invaded.

elisabeth was born into a life of luxury as the princess of denmark. she had everything she wanted at her fingertips, and even if the country she was born to rule came with responsibilities, she still got everything that a future ruler of a large country would get. she has a twin brother, though she was born exactly seven minutes before him, and therefore she was the heir to the treasured crown and the title as queen of denmark. besides, she'd have plenty of advisors to help her make important decisions and all of the political things that came with the title.

she was sent to vanderbilt, seeing that her parents thought that the only school fit for a princess like her, though it wasn't like her parents actually spent more than a few minutes caring about her normally. finding her a school was just a way to send their daughter away, and even if they did love their little princess, they were often too absorbed in politics to even care that much, instead giving her nannies in her early life. her twin brother went along to vanderbilt with her, though once at the academy, she decided to ignore him more often than actually paying attention to her brother.

she greatly enjoys vanderbilt. maybe elisabeth isn't necessarily interested in all her classes, though she adores the social life. being a future queen, of course, she doesn't bow to anyone but herself, though she does respect other royalty, seeing that is civil. she is a part of the glam clan, and she is fiercely protective of its few elite members. she rids of who she deems should go, making sure anyone unworthy is gone from her presence as soon as possible. her good side is somewhere all aspire to be, though it can be hard to get on. however, once one is on it, elisabeth will do everything to make sure their life is going well and no one messes with them. however, her bad side - well, some say that death would be more generous.

Biography:: She isn't much of a leader-At least not in a social kind of way. Violette's mother died of cancer when she was nine, and she hadn't been the same since then.
She grew up in a very unstable home, her father being the "Manwhore" of North Carolina, and her step-mother being an alcoholic. Her father was never home, but he did treat her like a princess when he was. The same wouldn't apply for her step-mother, who would spent thousands of dollars a day just to show her husband a lesson.
Her father was a really important CEO, and so she grew up being known by everyone. She felt suffocated, more so at the fact people judged her throughout her whole life.
While her stay in Vanderbilt, she was known as an outgoing, talented girl. Where she was a bit talented, she never did anything for herself. She's become her whore-ish father, dating her way around the school. Her alcoholic stepmother- always found with a drink in hand when she's in parties.

All she needs is someone to help her avoid becoming what she doesn't want to become. That with these bad habits, she can destroy her career.

Meet Phoenix Cardin, the epitome of the wannabe bad boy. Sure, he’s got leather jackets, a guitar and charm, but he lacks the edge to convincingly carry out the act. Phoenix is the type of kid who other kids recognize, but no one truly knows. A hopeless romantic, a pacifist and a jokester. Like most kids, Phoenix Cardin is a product of his environment.

Phoenix grew up as the son of a touring rock legend for the band Five Days Beyond and Phoenix has always wanted to live just like his father. The issue lied in the fact that his father was never really around for him to imitate. All Phoenix really had were television interviews and tabloid stories to get a glimpse into his father’s life. That and his mother’s grandiose stories.

Phoenix’s mother was a swimsuit model in her youth. She is greatly intelligent, but it is rare for anyone to recognize her as such. In fact, she grew up as the child to a very wealthy family and attended Oxford University. She pursued modeling after she determined that she didn’t want to lead her life as a chemist in a lab. Phoenix admires his mother for staying true to her desires in confusing times.

Phoenix came to Vanderbilt because his mother, Daphne Oberman, was an alumni. Her family sent her to the academy as part of the Diamond House. Even though Phoenix’s path is much different from hers, she takes great pride in her son.

At the end of the day, Phoenix is a good kid. He spends a nice amount of time assisting with charities, even if he does enjoy to flirt and ride on a motorcycle.

Du Hui is....well. As the son of prominent actors in some of the largest cinematic industries, it was bound to happen that he’d find his way into the limelight himself. As well as having the combined arrogance of both his parents. It's almost like he absorbed every last bit of it they had. And it's not like he hasn't earned is fair share of accolades; he's a talented young man and no one has ever doubted that. It's just...he hasn't hit that potential yet. That star power. But hey, you gotta act like you already are where you wanna be, right?

Henly, as he's allowed his Western friends to call him, is usually not so bad to be around. Take out the arrogance and the seemingly endless chatter, he's a joy. But he expects everyone to think as much. Who wouldn't wanna be around a guy with awards under his belt already? An actual teen heartthrob for home-based and international fans? Yeah; that's him and it's something of a privilege to be considered a friend. Not ot mention he's tall, handsome and rich; those are fun perks.

Vanderbilt was a requirement. You could say that Hui had little to no input on the matter. His acceptance letter was forwarded to hhim by the family agent along with a boarding pass and a voicemail from his mother stating that he needed to continue the legacy by attending for a year. {t}he girl known as cora jeong to the people at her school does not exist. she doesn't hold memories of her parents sitting around a fireplace, of christmas mornings, of good grades and bad grades alike. what she does remember, though, are the memories of a million other girls her age. a million names, a million street addresses, a million stories of families and friends that do not exist and never have. secrets are the only way to survive in this world; if they never know who you are they never know who to hurt. and with a girl as genius as ░░░░░░, many people wish nothing more than to hurt her.

She lived in a small city somewhere in the midwest, a place where she was the only asian person in miles. her parents both worked very hard to raise her as a smart and kind young woman. as a child she was very introverted, turning to her computer instead of peers. she began hacking at a young age, at first doing it to gain free memberships at club penguin. her interest grew as she did, though, and soon enough the young girl was uncovering conspiracies. ░░░░░░ followed her father's advise, to never trust the world as she saw it. the only thing that she could trust was the information she uncovered herself. so she continued, getting dirt on politicians, celebrities, and everyone powerful in between. then someone noticed her. she came home to both her parents gone, and immediately knew there was no getting them back. so she went into hiding, using various aliases. it wasn't long until she learned how to fake documents, ids, anything she'd need.

{s}o, what happened to that little girl? she grew to be a viper, someone who was snarky and knew exactly who she wanted to be in life. she wanted to take down the people who had stolen her parents from her. if she wanted to do that, though, she would have to be far better than what she was. she needed to be able to get her hands on better computers, better teachers to learn from, a place where she would be safe. what better place for that than vanderbilt? she applied and waited. she didn't get in, but she wouldn't give up. ░░░░░░ went into the database, put in the name cora, and appeared at the school first semester. cora was much different than her creator. a bit of a bimbo, cora works on coding various fashion and news websites. she's not the sharpest tool in the shed, but she really is a sweet girl.

Lee (only his parents call him Huang, and only when he's in trouble) is shy. Sure, sometimes he's mean, or bratty, or loud, or meme-y — but only around people he's comfortable with. He's never in the room if people are watching something he's been in, and although he has a YouTube channel where he posts covers of songs, the videos are all unlisted because he doesn't have the confidence to see what people will think of it.

At heart, Lee is just a lonely fifteen-year-old whose parents decided that moving to some super-prestigious school would be a good experience for him. They just... don't really understand that Lee doesn't like it, doesn't like being thrust into new situations without warning and without people he can cling to.
