What did you think of it? Favorite or least favorite characters? Favorite or least favorite part?

message 2: by J (new) - rated it 5 stars

J I love this book so much !!

Funky Fish (goodreadscompetitcroissant) This book is seriously one of my all time favourites. It is so moving and beautiful and I love it so much. And I love how the lines between fantasy and reality are so blurred, and you're never completely sure whether something actually happened or whether it was just in Conor's head.

Courtney | 1 comments Rereading it. I am at a different place in my life and I want to see if I pick up on different themes this time.

Enkhtamir (tambulx1f33ex1f497) IT WAS SO GOOD!

Paula S (paula_s) | 1 comments I read it earlier this year and really liked it.

Hanna (pinkmp) | 6 comments Didn't the movie come out? Of course I refuse to see anything Hollywood adapts from a book.

Usually I don't either. But the trailer seemed good.

Jessica | 4 comments just got it this morning from the library. so far so good!!

Farren (mmmcookies) | 302 comments This is definitely my favorite Patrick Ness book. But I don't really like him so I guess that isn't saying much lol Did anyone else think that Conor was like 11 years old during the story?

I think the movie looks fantastic. I love seeing books translated into movies and sometimes they end up better anyway. I wonder how many tv shows and movies you've watched that you didn't even know are books, or how many great movies you've missed out on because "the book is always better."

I think..."

it stated that he is 13 years old to me it felt like he was older or at least acted like he was older i.e fixing breakfast, doing laundry. I'm excited that there will be a movie trailer looks good!

Farren (mmmcookies) | 302 comments I was just thinking his emotional maturity didn't seem 13 but I guess all of the practical stuff made up for it. I didn't think of it that way. My nephew is 13 and he couldn't handle all that
