David Tucker (teachertron) | 73 comments Just to let you know, I prefer to buy each copy I review, it looks way better if it is a verified review on your page - therefore no need to send me a copy either. This in no way means, if you are reviewing my book, that you need to purchase a copy of mine. It is just the way I like to roll :)

FYI David. My book is discounted to 0.99 until tomorrow, so you can grab yourself a cheep copy if you like. Having said that, I'm not sure if the Amazon countdown deals apply in your region. I'm still a little unsure on the matter.

My story should always be free; if it's not, price match it from anywhere else, should you be one of my reviewers~

Very true and as one who will probably be being reviewed by you, my thanks in advance!

I find it irritating that A'zon will not give acknowledgment to those who have borrowed and read the book through Prime or on KU. Considering it is a scheme they encourage and they monitor how much of the book one reads so they can pay royalties to the author, they could easily include a 'borrowed and read through A'zon' label to put in where they have the 'verified purchase' thing.

Lisa Reads & Reviews (lisareviews) Everyone seems eager to get started, so let's go.

Acquire the 4 novels on list ahead of you.

Once you have them, post a comment here to let me know.

I'll post the due dates once I figure them out. You don't have to follow any reading order, but the due dates are good to keep you on track. The rule with the highest priority is by the end of Round 4, you must have all your reviews complete, and posted.

message 58: by E.M. (new)

E.M. Swift-Hook | 3487 comments Thanks for firing the starting gun Chance - I know a few of us more impatient folk have already snuck a march on the 'official' start ;)

No need for anyone I am reviewing to send me anything - I already have it covered!

I have the first two: Coming Darkness and Genesis-The Battle Within. I'll acquire the other two later.

message 61: by Scott (new)

Scott Spotson (scottspotson) Chance could you please remove the older lists of ten authors and ten books and leave the official final list up in case anyone gets confused by sorting through three versions. Thanks.

Lisa Reads & Reviews (lisareviews) FYI

I cannot modify or delete comments posted by Emma, so Message 1 will have to stay the way it is until Emma returns. I believe her return is imminent, so hang in there and read through the threads if you want to catch up on the goings-on.

Susan-Alia Terry (susanaliaterry) | 19 comments Hey guys - I'm confused and feeling kinda dumb about it. So I'm number seven - in my head, the four books "ahead" of me are books 3, 4, 5 and 6. Is this correct? I have a sneaking feeling that it's not. Help?

The four books you will be reviewing are:

8. Genesis - The Battle Within - David Tucker
9. Bridge Through Time - Scott Spotson
10. The War Between - Jennifer Withers
1.Tales of Engines & Demons - Matt Parker

You be reviewed by the 4 people immediately preceding you in the list.

Hope this helps and hope I am not usurping mod privilege by telling you this - if I am, I do apologise, Chance.

Thanks, E.M. I've been doing this so long, I forgot to be clear.

message 71: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Reads & Reviews (lisareviews) For clarification, here is an example:

Number 1 will review, 2, 3, 4, 5
Number 1 will be reviewed by 7, 8, 9, 10

Etc

The list is a loop. I apologize for any confusion.

message 72: by Leo (new)

Leo McBride (leomcbride) | 115 comments Review copy in the hands of Matt, Scott and EM, and message sent to Jennifer.

Messages sent to Daniel, Sean, Kendi and Susan-Alia about where to send review copy.

Hope I've got that the right way round :)

Jennifer Withers | 27 comments Phew - ok so I'm a bit confused now too.
Who am I reviewing? And who is reviewing me?
From what I understand I'm reviewing 1, 2, 3 & 4, & I will be reviewed by 6, 7, 8 & 9?

message 76: by Sean (new)

Sean Torres (froboy69) | 65 comments Matt and Leo have received copies of my story. Haven't heard from E.M. nor Daniel for their emails but I can wait until the respective round has come.

Scott and Susan have sent me their copies. Still waiting on Kendi and David.

E.M. Swift-Hook | 3487 comments Sean wrote: "Haven't heard from E.M. nor Daniel for their emails but I can wait until the respective round has come"

In my experience (and please correct me anyone, if I am wrong as I do not want to give bad guidance) the usual etiquette of these rounds is for the one being reviewed to contact their reviewer, not the other way around - which is why I did not contact you, Sean. But in my case, as I posted earlier on the thread, I have already gathered all my reads through KU or purchase, so no worries anyway. :)

Oh I am sorry; I thought that the UK amazon matched the same price as the US...but I hope that you enjoy it.

message 82: by E.M. (new)

E.M. Swift-Hook | 3487 comments No worries - I would have thought they would price match it to. It is a bit surprising that they do not. Maybe you could ask A'zon why, or check their policy on ti to see if there is an issue?

And all the thanks should be sent your way, Chance, for setting us up and running under difficult circumstances!
